Kevin D. Wait has practiced law in the Kansas City area since 2001 and joined Norton, Hubbard, Ruzicka, Kreamer & Kincaid, L.C. in May, 2004. Mr. Wait first practiced with the Overland Park office of Polsinelli, Shalton & Welte, P.C. where he focused his practice on general corporate, energy and telecommunications law. Since joining Norton, Hubbard, Ruzicka, Kreamer & Kincaid, L.C., Mr. Wait's primary emphasis is in general corporate law and general litigation. Mr. Wait is admitted to practice in both Kansas and Missouri.

Mr. Wait received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 1997. Prior to receiving his J.D. and M.B.A., he received undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Accounting, also from the University of Kansas. Mr. Wait grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park, Kansas.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Wait spent two years as a senior management consultant for Ernst & Young, LLP, primarily as a business strategist in the telecommunications industry. He then played a major role in launching an Internet start-up company. Drawing on his business and legal background, Mr. Wait assists clients in a variety of areas including corporate entity selection and formation, corporate transactions, and general litigation.

Mr. Wait is a member of the Kansas and Johnson County Bar Associations. Mr. Wait is also active with the Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City and recently completed the Leadership Olathe Program. Mr. Wait resides in Lenexa, Kansas with his wife, Janel, and their two children, Cade and Rhys.
